This is God's plan and work for us in Brazil.
The Problems:
The city of Jacunda in the state of Para has a large number of children living in abject poverty.
They suffer from malnutrition, abandonment, illness, lack of medical care and medicine, and have no way to gain life-sustaining
skills. Safe drinking water is also often unavailable. Many children are born to adolescent mothers or abandoned by parents
who are unable to care for them.
God's Solution:
P.R.A.Y. has established a mission in
Jacunda, Para, Brazil to assist the children by providing shelter, medical assistance, and life skills.
Shelter
A temporary, emergency shelter for some, a permanent home for others, providing a Christian environment,
security, love, a place to sleep, and nutritional meals for the children in need.
Medical Assistance
A medical clinic has been built on the property using funds donated by individuals and churches in Kansas. We are searchng
for Doctors and Nurses who are willing to donate some of their time serving the poor by helping in our clinic.
Life Skills
Classes in literacy, reinforcement of school subjects, fabric painting, arts and crafts, and sewing give the children
opportunities to improve their lives and others through education. Products that the children produce are being sold
to provide a source of income for operating costs.
